Chocolate Films is a video production company based in Battersea. We create video content for museums, galleries, charities and corporate clients. We produce the award-winning web series, 1000 Londoners. We provide a wide range of filmmaking experiences for children, young people and adults.


We are looking to develop a digital marketing team to work with us to promote our brands online and on social media. This is an entry level position and the ideal candidate would be energetic, positive and creative. He/she needs to be passionate about the work we do and able to work closely with our production team to develop our work to different audiences.

Digital Marketing Trainee
For this role we are looking for a candidate who has a demonstrable interest, passion and instinct for social media and digital marketing, with the capability and will to develop a deeper skillset. Over the first six months of employment, Chocolate Films would organise training to develop skills in Digital Marketing.


He/she must have creative awareness, a sensibility for video production and filming services, and a knowledge of museums, galleries and the heritage and cultural sector. As a Digital Marketing Trainee you will be go through intensive training in Google and Youtube marketing strategy. Once you have successfully completed the training you will be responsible for supporting with the digital marketing of our channels and activity, driving traffic to the web and mobile sites of the following platforms Chocolate Films, Chocolate Films Workshops and 1000 Londoners.


You will work closely with the Directors, project managers and Digital Marketing Officer to create and implement marketing campaigns. You will support in the implementation and management of PPC SEO and other digital marketing paid advertising platforms to achieve annual objectives. You will also support with monitoring industry trends, planning for peak seasons with promotional calendars and the creation innovative digital campaigns.


Person Specification:
Payment: Digital Marketing Trainee £15,500-£17,000 depending on experience

Duration: An initial 6 month trial period with a view to longer term position.

Regular working week Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm, but flexibility essential. Time off in lieu offered.
