Job Description – Filmmaker

We are looking for a great visual storyteller to join our London production team.

Chocolate Films produces video content for museums, art galleries, broadcast, charities and corporate clients so this role is ideal for someone who is passionate about creating the widest range of content possible!

The right person must be passionate about using skills to support the next generation of filmmakers on workshop and engagement projects. Chocolate Films is a social enterprise, and uses profits from the video production services to support a wide range of filmmaking experiences for children, young people and vulnerable adults.

And as creators of 1000 Londoners we are looking for a person with great ideas and energy to help develop this huge scale documentary project.

Desired skills include:
• Experience in using Canon cinema cameras (C100/C200/C300) and/or Sony cameras (FS7/ A7Sii)
• A good knowledge of documentary/interview lighting
• A strong technical knowledge of sound equipment and accessories
• Final Cut Pro X and Premiere
• Teaching/workshop experience
• Experience in stop motion animation

Essential attributes:
• A positive attitude
• A full, clean driving license

Payment: Annual salary of £21,950 – £28,000 depending on experience.
Employment is contingent on a clean extended DBS check and clean driving license.
Duration: An initial 6 month probationary period with a view to longer term position.
Role to start ASAP.

Regular working week Monday to Friday 9.00 – 6pm, but flexibility essential as weekend and evening work is common. Time off in lieu offered for extra hours.
