Saturday Studio Workshop Facilitator

Do you have a positive attitude and a supportive nature? Are you passionate about providing skills and practical experience in the film industry to young people? Then this opportunity might be perfect for you.

Chocolate Films Workshops is the sister company of Chocolate Films. We offer workshops and outreach programmes to children and young people and disadvantaged adults in filmmaking skills. 

From April 2024 we will be hosting a Saturday Workshop Programme in stop-motion animation (for ages 8-11) and short film creation (for ages 12-15) at Nine Elms Studio. www.nineelmsstudio.com 

We are hiring an experienced Workshop Facilitator to lead these workshops, alongside Filmmakers from Chocolate Films.

Must have previous experience in:

• Working with children 
• Filmmaking (camera, sound and lighting skills)

Ideally, we would like software experience:

• Premiere Pro (editing)
• Dragon Frame (stop motion animation) 

This is a paid position £240 / day 

Regular working hours will be 9.00am – 5.30pm on Saturdays in Nine Elms, London

Special consideration will be given to applicants from diverse backgrounds and local residents of The London Borough of Wandsworth.

The Process:

2. Interviews (virtual) will take place in the week commencing 18th March
3. Subject to enhanced DBS check, the successful candidate will be required to complete a paid training day in early April before the workshops begin
