On-Set Covid Protocol

At Chocolate Films, we understand that following Covid guidelines is still very important when promoting the safety of everyone involved in a production. Following advice allowing everyone to work safely, we are still taking sensible precautions to ensure the wellbeing of our clients and crew. 

We create a worry-free studio environment that streamlines the overall filming process. To make this environment, we focus on three primary elements of Covid safety:

RISK ASSESSMENTS

When planning every shoot, our team will carry out a risk assessment for each activity and record how the team will manage significant risks regarding Covid in an assessment document. 

All information will be provided to our team on how to keep people safe prior to the commencement of production. We will also display information on compliance with government guidance in workplaces in the form prescribed in government guidance.

We will also stay up to date on our website regarding the appropriate assessments and information important to our clients. 

Chocolate Films continues to promote the following activity with our team:

• Stay Alert, and stay at home as much as possible. If you have symptoms- stay at home.
• If you don’t have a reason to be physically present in the office, work from home.
• Limit content with other people
• Keep your distance if you go out – 2 metres apart
• Wash our hands regularly. 

HIGH STANDARD OF HYGIENE

An essential element of promoting Covid safety is ensuring that the entire working environment is deeply cleaned on a regular basis. Coronavirus can transfer from people to surfaces. It can be passed on to others who touch the same surfaces.

We provide a professional clean of the studio top to bottom after every shoot to prevent this. We also ensure frequent handwashing is carried out by our crew and provide hand sanitiser across all stages of filming. 

SOCIALLY DISTANCED FILMING CREW

We make sure that all parties involved in the filming feel at a safe and comfortable distance from one another to prevent the spread of the virus. This is present throughout your entire visit to our studio – from being greeted in a large and open reception area to our safely distanced studio setup.

Our filming crew also assists in this by wearing the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) within enclosed environments where requested. This reduces the risk of transmission through airborne particles and promotes the safety of both crew and clients.
