The national library of the United Kingdom

The British library is is the largest library in the world by number of items catalogued. It holds around 170 million items from many countries, in many languages and in many formats, both in print and digital: from books, manuscripts, journals, newspapers and magazines to sounds and music recordings, videos, play-scripts, maps, prints and drawings.

From handwriting to digital, and innovating exhibitions

Chocolate Films has worked with the British Library for several years on a range of projects, across both productions and learning workshops. Recently, we were proud to produce all AV content for the major exhibition James Cook: The Voyages. In 2015 we used video to connect the print and digital world, producing 20 films for the British Library’s Magna Carta: My Digital Rights project.
