An impactful 2-minute animation on depression and anxiety produced for Small Pharma as part of the Mental Health Awareness Week

Chocolate Films was commissioned by Small Pharma to create an animation that explores the mental health struggles of depression and anxiety, illustrating the symptoms of these issues, the ways they can impact individuals day to day lives and feelings, and also providing useful tools and advice to help combat these issues.

The animation was delivered in just a week from commission, with a dynamic production process. The client provided the voice over and script, our animator responded with a style guide and story board, and we worked closely with them over just a matter of days to ensure we exceeded their expectations and hit their deadline.

Caring the weight of the world on your shoulders

The style was kept dynamic and minimalist using the client’s brand colours. Our animator animated all aspects of the artwork, creating smooth movements and expressions as well as fluid transitions between frames.

With a more minimalist style and simplified facial features, the animation reaches out to a large audience regardless of age, gender, race, and sex.

The illustrations supported the script and voiceover and helped emphasize the struggles of depression and anxiety.

Chocolate Films workshops are absolutely amazing for my child! The team is so friendly and does a great job of keeping the kids engaged. My child loves learning about filmmaking and always comes home excited to share all the cool things they’ve done that day.
The workshops are really hands-on and encourage so much creativity, which is fantastic to see. My child feels so proud of what they’re creating, and the films they work on always turn out brilliant.

My children attended their film making workshops. What a great time they had! The crew members were fantastic, especially Bea, who has got excellent attitude towards children and tons of patience. I really recommend them, if you are looking for some quality workshops for your children.
