We have worked with groups of young people with experiences of violence, adults with histories of mental illness, people with auditory hallucinations and many more groups to create powerful and effective content. We work empathetically, running a workshop-based programme, that enables the group to be involved at each step of the way, in a way that suits them. Whether live-action or animation, the results will always feel like they have the voice of the end user.
We bring people’s stories to life
By commissioning content from Chocolate Films, you also invest in a new, diverse generation of filmmakers through Chocolate Films Workshops. The workshops offer creative filmmaking and animation experiences for people of all ages. They are run by professional filmmakers, who are DBS-checked and experienced at working with children and vulnerable adults.
If you are part of the workshop, you also have the opportunity to be part of our documentary project 1000 Londoners. 1000 Londoners is all about telling real stories about real people.
