The next stage of diabetes research
Chocolate Films collaborated with Phaim on the fundraising film Curing Diabetes which focuses on type 1 diabetes. The goal was clear: to create an emotive film that convinces people watching to offer funding to the research.
The video should have an impact on the audience and not only make them watch it from start to finish, but also inspire them to take action and support the research. We combined live-action footage with animated elements to keep people hooked. We wanted to both communicate important data about the disease and why research is needed, while at the same time showing the life of working in a lab.
Video featuring contributors
The script included important data and scientific facts about the disease and the research that is and has been put into it. Our team collaborated closely with the client on the script. The client provided us with their knowledge and wrote the core of the script while our team used their expertise and turned the script into an impactful fundraising film.
Our filmmakers filmed most of the footage in an actual lab featuring the contributors. It gave the film authenticity and reliability.
