Chocolate Films was commissioned by the global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills to show how its Networked Scholarship Scheme helps students from disadvantaged backgrounds become future leaders, through a programme of mentoring and financial help. Designed for social media, the promo features both managing partners, mentors and former networked scholars, who pay testament to the scheme’s usefulness.
Chocolate Films first collaborated with Herbert Smith when they were nominated for a Lord Mayor’s Dragon award. They really liked this promo – a quick turnaround, from filming to editing – which aimed to be short and snappy but also focus on the human interest side. As a consequence, it has kicked off a long term relationship with the company, with future video projects being developed.
